The Enoplastic screw cap “lands” in America
Never stop. Keep moving. Enoplastic is proud to introduce the American branch’s latest Improvement, the installation of a new system for manufacturing 30Øx60mm screw caps. A strategic choice that strengthens the company mission to be even closer to its customers and to offer innovative and localized solutions and services. The US screw caps production comes within a plan of consolidation of the American market. Based in Fairfield in California, Enoplastic USA has a newly built warehouse covering 62,000 sqft where all the departments are located: production, technical, sales, logistics and accounting.
Good news
Practical to use, good to look at and perfect for preserving the aroma, the taste and the freshness of the wine. The Enoplastic 30x60 screw caps are the best solution for guaranteeing an easy opening and closing of wine and spirits bottles and, at the same time, to protect the product from any external factors. Thanks to research and innovation, Enoplastic screw caps preserve the taste of the product, eliminating the possibility of any contamination from cork, as well as representing an extremely practical closure.
The research carried out now offers the possibility of choosing between various seals, thus making it possible to select the most suitable solution according to the characteristics of the wine that the bottle contains. PRO2, the seal with characteristics similar to those of SaranexTM, is ideal for still wines that can be kept for one or two years; Tin Foil, is a more impermeable seal than the previous one and is, therefore, recommended for wines that can be kept for longer periods (up to 10 years) and that solves the problem of oxidation, or GPF, the seal recommended for sparkling wines with a pressure up to 2.5bar.
A taste for detail
The details are what makes a product perfect. Enoplastic has created a wide range of colours and decorations for its screw caps: they include various colours, both standard and customised ones in different finishes (metallized, pastel, glossy, matte), and even with precious details like screen printing (even embossed) or hot foil (in the case of foil), available for the side and for the head of the screw cap.
Enoplastic Usa: the secret of a winning team
A team is like a jigsaw puzzle, where each piece must be put in the right place. The success of a company certainly depends on ideas, projects, innovation and production skills. But also on skilful professionals, who know how to draw on these peculiarities in their daily work. In order to construct a winning team, it is, therefore, necessary to focus on skills, but also on the people. It is important to know that you can assign them specific roles and tasks, in which everyone can give their best, providing the work group and the company with its own strength of experience and knowledge. This is exactly what happens with the Enoplastic USA team, under the general manager Andrea Cappelletto.
The importance of the role thanks to work and skills
The man who can organize and train the team is Gerald Montgomery, production manager, who brought his skills to the company in 2006, managing to raise the levels of productivity and to mould a motivated and well-trained team to cope with and overcome new challenges.
Tanisha Sandoval, quality control manager, is undoubtedly the queen of procedures, with a clear aim: optimizing production flows to guarantee high quality products. She joined the company in 2019 and immediately began revamping the quality control system, also thanks to her professional experience in other sectors. Tanisha has a “right hand woman”: Claudia, who guides the production floor on a day to day basis by responding promptly to all needs.
It is strategic for a successful team to have someone who “knows where to put his or her hands”. In Enoplastic USA, it is Kent Geottman, plant maintenance, a true maintenance magician, the sector where he worked most of his career He always knows what to do when a problem comes up. Above all he is capable of giving the right instructions on what to do to get the machines up and running when something breaks, also thanks to the support of Matthew Gardner.
Matthew has the strategic task of optimizing everything necessary to improve production efficiency, while guaranteeing the necessary maintenance to the various systems. Every day Matthew demonstrates his skill in bridging the gap between the two areas, contributing to improving the company’s productivity.
Enrico Garavaglia, production specialist, has been tasked with “bridging” the geographical distance between the USA branch and the Italian headquarters. He could be called the “diplomat”, because he is the one who helps to improve communication processes, by overcoming the language barrier. However, he is also a valuable “drive belt” of the inputs from the general manager Andrea Cappelletto. These tasks have an important effect in terms of efficiency and productivity.
Peggy Newburn, our experienced foreperson, provides the seamless link between past, present and future in terms of the evolution of the machinery. She has been with the company since 2009. Over the years she has seen many machines in operation and their evolution. She has acquired precious skills that she has always shared with her colleagues in order to help their professional development and growth.
This is the "hidden" team of Enoplastic USA, rich in skills, well organized and with great work culture.
