To reinforce our R&D Team, we are looking for an R&D Engineer who, reporting directly to the Group R&D Coordinator, will be responsible to lead the product development projects in the Plant, providing continuous technical assistance to those functions involved in the product and process development, focusing on costs reduction and customers satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define costs, resources, and time to conduct R&D projects
- Work together with R&D colleagues from other Countries
- Contact with external Labs to boost testing phases
- Work together with main suppliers to define types, characteristics and properties of raw materials
- Design and perform Lab and machine tests
- Collect, analyze and report test results
- Interface with internal Production Planners to guarantee material and equipment availability for mock up
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering
- At least 3/5 years of professional experience as R&D Engineer in a manufacturing environment, particularly in printing companies or similar
- Familiarity with mechanical and chemical testing equipment (eg. Dynamometer, Spectrophotometry, gas-chromatography…)
- English and Spanish mandatory
